Q How do I join and become a BDDA player

Q. Why do you need my doctor to confirm my disability?
A. all our players have to provide a doctors letter confirming their disability, even if it is visible, to be fair and treating everyone equally. Not all disabilities are eligible conditions under the eligibility  criteria we there need you doctor/consultant to confirm what your is so we can ensure it is eligible.
Q. IWhat is the annual fee and when do I have to pay it?
A. The annual fee is currently £15, it covers your BDDA membership and WDP annual membership for the calendar year. It is due when you register for your first tournament each year, so new players do not have to pay until they pay their tournament fees for their first ever tournament
Q. I can not get the darts out of the board because of my disability, can I have help ?
  • A. Yes you can have a retriever, please read the "BDDA Playing Rules" on this website, point number 4 for full details, on the day of the tournament you must advise the tournament officials at registeration you will be using a retriever
Q. How do I find out about tournaments?
A. When a tournament has been confirmed and open for registration we email each player, individually with the full details, there details are posted on this website on the "events" menue and they are posted on our facebook page plus they are put under the events page of our facebook page.New paragraph
